In order to afford a new treatment for her mother who suffers MS, a frigid middle aged writer undergoes a sexual awakening in order to write a successful erotic novel and win a publishing deal at the annual Romance Writers Convention.

Our heroine, is Prudence Pecker, late 30’s - naive and lacking a little when it comes to sex-perience, she’s obsessed with sweet romance novels - reading them, and trying to write them. Blessed with a vivid imagination, she often fantasizes in Mills and Boon fashion, via her alter ego Prue Page.

This is a female perspective on love, sex and romance in the modern age, set within the secret world of romance novelists. The everyday reality, is suburban Australia, with the odd romp to Mooloolaba for the Romance writers Convention.
